Major major snub under Best Animated Film category (Oscars). Voters really don’t have the eye to appreciate one of the most magnificent animated art styles I have ever seen. I was in awe of every damn frame in this movie. AI just could never produce a visuals like this with an emotional depth. There’s something so special about anime with romance and sci-fi world. It hits right into my heart with all the gorgeous visuals and emotions that carry so much weight. It’s more of a surreal sci-fi with romance than just a deep hardcore sci-fi. The soundtrack absolutely rules with those visuals and heartwarming story. One of the best films of 2025 that was badly snubbed at oscars.
