看完還是想說我到底看了什麼 氣氛營造是不錯偏向一點點沉悶
Qualquer outro filme de terror parece lixo depois de ver essa obra prima
I loved 90% of the movie, the setting, cinematography, absolutely creepy sound design and score, the investigation, the suspense, lead character’s mysterious childhood, except the supernatural part which was such a let down. OMG. I was expecting it to blow me away, instead I got something so juvenile and swept away my great mood that was set in seconds. Enjoyed it nonetheless but I wish they had chosen a better element when it comes to occult part. It was still a twisted stuff that I crave for but I was not completely satisfied with the satanic technique that is used here to make fathers kill their families. Tooooo basic for my taste. They could have gone deeper into it. Would have had a better impact on me.
His legs didn’t look that long to me
Longlegs is a great addition to the pantheon of serial killer investigation films from the 90s. It’s a fincher tale with a dash of supernatural sprinkled in. I really enjoyed it, but it felt a little hollow (like a doll brain). But who cares? Hollow is fine. It’s not a masterpiece but it’s fun. And Oz sure is his father’s son. I did not expect To enjoy Alicia Witt so much. I’ve always thought her as someone who’s perpetually in her 20s but she has much more range than that. Come to think of it, this was a really well cast movie. Finally I enjoyed the aspect ratio changes. I saw others on Letterboxd found the shifts too clean. I dunno - I thought clean and coherent timeline transitions is something to applaud … much better than the whiplash Late Night With the Devil gave me or to a lesser extent Maxxxine.
honestly, it was an okay watch. it starts off on such a great note, really promising, but somewhere along the way i just lost interest. i do not even know why, because the camera work, the atmosphere, and the script were all really solid. but somehow the overall execution just felt a bit off. not a bad film at all, just missing something :(
Alan wake with pacific drive, but worse.
What a stupid bullsh*t of a movie, flat from start to end!! The entire movie was just building up for a climax which wasn't even a one. I don't care if it had any deeper meaning inside in it, wtf is it for if a viewer isn't able to get that and other things were just flat. I'm blank why tf all that buildup for just to reveal it was her mother helping satan doing that, man the better twist would have been lee harker was also manipulated in some kind and behind all of this, the moment i felt it where carter was telling her that the case flowing since she came, not expecting that non-surprising twist, that made the whole movie so flat. I have rated only 3-4 movies 4/10 since i started rating on imdb(6 years and 350+ ratings), and this is one of the worst one that even i want my precious time back.
