Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra2025

This one really surprised me!! Even after hearing good things about the movie, i wasn't expecting it to be better than any other superhero movie india ever produced, which had cliches from superhero origin movies and never impressed me in the way that i saw something that stands out or not a desperate superhero movie that lacks vision. (sorry for the rant) NCB to the review: i loved how the first half was a nice way to start to a superhero movie, that mystery around the character of chandra & how each side character stands out with nicely built story, inshort the first half was engaging and so likeable, i would definitely give 9/10 to the 1st half of movie. The 2nd half did felt like that it was edited/written by someone different, they mostly loose the grip over viewers(my pov) and it felt stretchy and boring in some parts, not that it was completely trash but the 1st half skyrocketed my expectations and they concluded very simply in the ended, i'm most disappointed by the climax of the movie, it was just flat or had none superhero climax feel. Few more negatives: Action scenes were okay Pacing was uneven Bad antagonist i really want to SPECIALLY mention and appreciate the vision of the makers, and how director and cinematographer did their job so well to provide a unique identity to the indian superhero movie which lacks epicness and feel mostly, in first half it was just flawless for me apart from less superhero scenes. i'm not disappointed from movie i just want it to achieve better and introduce its own identity in the superhero genre, i'm looking forward to the next movies of the universe, let's hope they don't follow the cliches...
