Wow, it’s kind of hard to say which of the Dalton films I like more. The Living Daylights feels like a plussing of the Moore films in an incredible way, but this one feels truly different. Here, Bond is on a revenge mission as a rogue agent, and it’s something we’ve never seen from him before. There have been brief bouts of emotion, but this Bond is like a shark willing to do anything to catch his prey.  It is truly a damn shame Dalton didn’t get to do another Bond film. He really is incredible. But I guess it’s true that less is more, and he really did the most with his brief tenure. Maybe I’m just craving something fresh after 18 Bond films, but this really worked for me in just about every aspect. Absolutely gritty and new but still absolutely Bond.  Now we come to the Bond film I’ve been most excited to see. We enter a brand new era and a new world for James Bond. We have arrived at 𝑮𝑶𝑳𝑫𝑬𝑵𝑬𝒀𝑬.
