A young girl suffers a terrifying nightmare of a vampire with blazing golden eyes. Eighteen years later, it is revealed to be a hellish prophecy when a strange package containing an empty coffin mysteriously turns up at a nearby lake.

The most methodical vampire movie I’ve seen; almost more like a mystery tucked inside a vampire movie. Nobody believes our leading lady which creates the impression that every character thinks it’s in a different movie. The doctor boyfriend is in a noirish murder mystery and the sister is in a rom com while our lead is in a horrific nightmare of a horror movie. Blend them together and whatever goop comes out is what fills the lake of Dracula …… SIKE!! The lake is beautiful along with the rest of the outdoor scenery. And on their day in the city, the sisters had the cutest coats I’ve seen in a while. And awesome dream sequences with the red skies. I think you’ll really like this movie if you enjoy having characters read exposition from a book!
