Forensic psychologist and detective Alex Cross travels to North Carolina and teams with escaped kidnap victim Kate McTiernan to hunt down "Casanova," a serial killer who abducts strong-willed women and forces them to submit to his demands. Not a bad little thriller. It’s interesting seeing Morgan freeman in a lead role and honestly it really works. He seems a strong fit for the character and has a lot of charm. However I think the plot and characters feels more like an episode of a tv show than an actual film. Maybe too unrealistic? I’m not sure. Even though I didn’t love the plot I will say I never guessed who the killer was till the very end. Now onto the sequel. Mysteries Ranked
