One of the most important films of the year was sadly not given attention by many. Yes, I agree this seemed generic from the trailer and visually seemed flat. But after watching the film, I can tell that it proved me wrong in so many ways. It goes beyond generic sports film by exposing duality of lives that people lead in this country. Though first half is something that we have seen before, it still goes in a beautiful engaging pace. It’s 2nd half that I loved more. The pale Color palette didn’t bother me in full film as much as it did in trailer because you don’t need any filters to make this seem powerful. Just the lives of those kids and their daily struggles acts as a palette on screen that had a huge impact on me by the end. One of the best Hindi films of the year.
