Jaws in the pool is the way to go for goodbyes

I have a feeling this probably wasn’t the point of the movie but I really wish I was a fisherman with an orange hat and a yellow raincoat in an old fishing town. That aside, loved every second of it.

O clássico tubarão de Spielberg. Tubarão, é o nome criatura que dá título ao filme e que a história gira em torno. É totalmente incrível e admirável como a direção de Spielberg e o roteiro de Peter Benchley e Carl Gottlieb no deixa entretido nas falas e relações dos personagens, nos esquecendo do principal: o tubarão, a ameaça principal. O filme cria um clima de tensão e faz com que tenhamos medo de uma criatura ausente, que quase não aparece ao decorrer do longa. O motivo? Seria muito custoso fazer o monstro aparecer em várias cenas. De qualquer forma, isso não atrapalhou que 'Tubarão' virasse um clássico do cinema, sendo referenciando nas mídias até hoje.

A praia trazia muito dinheiro pra cidade, então o prefeito encoraja as pessoas a irem a praia, até mesmo entrar no mar.  Outra coisa : a música nos créditos lembra muito Heal the World

This movie draws such a clear line from Hitchcock-era thrillers to the thriller suspense and horror films of the future. And it’s better than most of them.

90/100 Jaws is the blueprint for the modern blockbuster, and where I feel Spielberg really gets into his element, managing to create a terrific thriller and a fantastic monster movie. Unlike the last movie, this one is much more my speed in premise, perhaps because it's so much more simple. The central plot of people hunting a maneater shark is great in both concept and execution. The scenes of the shark attacking people are incredibly suspenseful without feeling exaggerated. The shark puppet itself was broken, malfunctioning during many scenes, but this merely forced the filmmakers to adapt, hiding the shark or hinting at it through the effect it has on its victims, as well as that iconic theme by John Williams. Ironically enough, this actually makes the shark more menacing through exploitation of trepidation until it's finally revealed in a pretty good scene about halfway through.…
