Iron Man2008

So Yeah, I'm only now watching it... Shut up. Overall this is a good movie. Not a masterpiece, but a very good start to a giant franchise, that actually does a good job just being a standalone movie. The Best aspect of this movie is Tony Stark himself. RDJ was perfectly cast in the role, and his charisma is put on full display here, which is part of the reason this character is so interesting. Another thing that makes him interesting is his backstory. the first third of the movie is the best part. It takes time to develop this character, but It doesn't really drag in the beginning at all either. I love how it shows the way that the whole event has caused him to change as a person. The 2nd act while not as tight, Is entertaining and I do like how you see him become Iron Man. But the third act is a pretty big letdown. The movie was well-paced until the end which felt a little rushed to me. Plus the villain is lame, he was set up to be interesting, but in the end, he just became an unthreatening boring-ass obstacle. and the fight felt for lack of a better word Lame... But the last scene was great and it had me smiling. So yeah It's good all I have to say.
