what an absolute powerhouse of a film! the acting is PHENOMENAL. every single performance hits hard. and that soundtrack is unreal. it just elevates every scene perfectly. the story itself is so moving and gut-wrenching, i was glued the entire time. daniel day-lewis, as always, is incredible, but honestly emma thompson and pete postlethwaite completely stole my heart!
