A great seafaring film in the spirit of master and commander. But where that film looks at at the action and romantic adventure of the ocean this looks exclusively at the hard bitter and somber aspects of working at sea. It was definitely an emotional watch for me. Thinking about how much humanity has accomplished and how much it has lost.
