It’s like watching a snippet of a longer timeline.

I didn’t watch the trailer. So I had no expectations but I had just read the plot. Rarely there has been a crime film written from the perspective of a criminal’s wife and her unfortunate life twined in her husband’s wrong doings. Have always had this thought.  Finally a movie showed whatever I had wished for and it is unexpectedly brilliant. Think “Fargo” when it comes to music and style. Think “Drive” when it comes to beautifully controlled screenplay. Think “Hell or High water’ when it comes to pacing-  subdued and realistic performances. “I am your woman” has got influence from all that and with yet another amazing performance by an actress in 2020 - This time it’s Rachel Brosnahan ❤️
