“As I was going up the stairs, I met a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. I wish, I wish he'd go away.” I don’t really know what to quantify this as. It’s kind of a mystery, it’s kind of a psychological thriller, but it’s also neither of these and both at the same time. I think while the idea and the execution are entertaining enough, there are definitely things that could have been done to still improve the execution and make it more satisfying. Perhaps if I didn’t spend the first half of the run time trying to remember if I had seen it before (I had), then maybe I would have enjoyed it better. That’s on me. But I still think that it needed more details in the main reveal and the final twist. I don’t know. Trying not to spoil it, as at 90 minutes, it’s definitely worth watching. It just may not hold up on rewatches. Unless, like me, you forgot you ever saw it at all.
