What a cruel film.  I’m giving this 1.5 stars only because I assume that was the directors intent. 90% of this film is observing the townsfolk figure out just how alive the recently deceased now are.  It’s novel concept but this movie goes nowhere. The conflict is basically “well what do we do with these half dead-half living people?”  Apparently the answer is dump them in a lake.  So I guess I’m struggling on the “why” of this movie.  We’re just watching people with no hope regain a glimmer of hope.  But then you symbolically crush all that regained hope via an adorable little bunny.  Like I said, it’s a cruel movie.
