After an ambush, Afghan interpreter Ahmed goes to Herculean lengths to save US Army Sergeant John Kinley's life. When Kinley learns that Ahmed and his family were not given safe passage to America as promised, he must return to the war zone and repay his debt.

Has got hiccups in the initial 40 minutes, though some scenes were nicely shot and written. But Clearly Guy Ritchie was not as smooth as I would have liked initially. He tried to make it bit like “Hurt Locker” but the best thing he has done comes after 40 minutes or so and then it’s a beautifully executed emotionally rewarding film till the end. The gradual bonding between Jake and Dar’s characters is lovely. I believe this is one of the better and refreshing stories to come from Afghanistan war after so long and also Probably the most UN-Guy Ritchie film ever. Super satisfying results.
