Korean political satire that is so much fun and clever with a super slick editing. Even with all the hilarious dialogues (sometimes over the top yet not cheap), it could hit me harder when it comes to how politics and diplomacy works during such tense times. This is really intelligent writing. There’s a thin line between slapstick/satire and serious issue at hand. GOOD NEWS stayed more often than not in the middle of both, delivering a super entertaining yet refreshing movie. At times it did feel tedious but the presentation and overall writing brought me back to that FUN SATIRICAL zone.
