Shut up about Pussy Galore, I'm all about Dink, the woman who apparently can't understand "man talk." Sexist, racist, rape, the three perfect combos for any James Bond movie
Goldfinger is the highest-rated and most popular of the Connery Bond films, and so I’m surprised it’s been my least favorite so far. It just all feels a little sloppier and a little cornier. There was a slickness and, in some ways, a timelessness to the first two that this just doesn’t have. Some moments seem needlessly drawn out and wreck the pacing. James Bond, though, is as charming as ever. I think all these movies have worked as well on their own as they do as a series, but this feels more like an aside than anything else. Maybe that’s the reason it’s so popular. Plus, the Aston Martin, of course.
The rape scene is unforgivable and disgusting.
