Chris and his girlfriend Rose go upstate to visit her parents for the weekend. At first, Chris reads the family's overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter's interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined.

I mean, it's decent but I didn't get all the hype it had since 2017.. Maybe, I didn't experience much horror because of the fever I had when I was watching this. This movie is definitely unpredictable. But I'd never think of rewatching this.
Loved the filming of this movie especially when he was in the sunken place

Godamnnit man!! I was in love with Rose(I kinda saw the twist coming though)! This has become one of my favorite horror films of all time! The pacing was excellent and I felt each and every shake of the camera. It was filled with an extraordinary roster of actors. The abrupt ending cost the film the 0.5 star. Otherwise Loved it

Wow. What a first for Peele. At its core, it’s a Twilight Zone take to unravel and examine, but the difference is that this comes from such a personal place. Underneath the mystery, it’s a film about the black experience in society and the 1st-person cues become palpable as the film advances. Clever, bewildering, horrifying, and thought-provoking. Loved it.
It was one of the best films I’ve watched in a long time, and I especially want to comment on this: The hatred towards Black people was portrayed incredibly well in every scene, especially through subtle remarks and microaggressions aimed at Chris, which clearly showed the effort to alienate him. Also, the connection between the scenes in the film was brilliant. It couldn’t have been portrayed any better. Also, the film was very surprising, this is portrayed really well. I never expected something like this.

Not my kind of genre but this really felt different and to be honest it was more of a traumatic experience and less thrill, the ending was not bonkers but okayish for this kind of film.... Will surely like the memory of this movie whenever i'll look back to it, to describe it in a word or two, it was "surreal" A 7 out of 10
