This UFO movie takes place on a serene, placid island where time moves a lot slower. As far as we know, the islands only inhabitants are a young husband and wife who handle the experience with a calm intelligence and, yea, grace that makes me want to reevaluate every rushed, anxious decision I've made. I enjoyed the muted, matter of fact performances by those actors. Sure they're wooden, but it matches the chilled vibes of the movie. The iridescent light shows could've dragged on another hour with no complaints The most ridiculous aspect of the film is how the military seeks out and relies on the opinions of a UFO scientist. 10 minutes in, this scientist is ordering generals to close the airspace and initiate a government coverup lol. Its so much simpler nowadays where the government just arrests all the experts and does whatever it wants
