Fantastic Mr. Fox2009

It’s crazy how simple this is and how it still leaves me with profound, deep questions about myself and the world (and the film). How do we embrace the nature in us that we cannot escape (we are wild animals), while trying our best not to hurt the others around ourselves?…Mr. Fox doesn’t have to learn to silence his fox attributes, but to use them, alongside the strengths of everyone in his family and his community, for the better of everyone else, even when he was the one that created the problem. But to do this we must love ourselves and one of the best fuels of self love is someone you love telling you how much they love you. And then Mr. Fox does that to Ash, and my eyes get watery.
