We live in a society where Citizen Kane gets a Criterion release and this doesn't. What a world... Parasite dethroned.
Showed this to my brother. Now we can’t stop petting our faces. 🖐🏻
老片的鬼點子真的很多XD 劇情多少有點漏洞,兩人演技撐起來
While having a fantastic premise, it’s simply not as bombastic as MI2. And the most electric thing about the movie is Nicolas Cage (and John Travolta as Nicolas Cage). When I hear about a movie where Cage and Travolta swap faces, I was expecting a pretty bonkers film, but overall, the film feels really “normal” and doesn’t get crazy till the ending, which this movie feels like it ends three different times. I also think with such a dark premise (your worst enemy stealing your life and you being forced to wear his face), this film needed more serious direction, writing, or performance. I think if it was played darker, this idea and film could be fantastic, but it plays like a comedy for the majority of the runtime. I enjoyed it. I had a good time. But I really feel like it could be better. Even though it doesn’t go as far as I would like in some ways, it’s still a pretty crazy film and one that I would recommend.
