Un ex pilota di Formula 1 ormai in pensione (Brad Pitt) viene richiamato in pista per aiutare una squadra in difficoltà. Insieme a un giovane e talentuoso rookie, deve affrontare le pressioni del mondo delle corse moderne: velocità estrema, politica interna ai team, rivalità feroci e il rischio costante di incidenti mortali. Il film segue il ritorno del veterano, i conflitti generazionali tra lui e il giovane compagno di squadra, le strategie di gara e le sfide personali fuori dalla pista. È un mix di dramma sportivo, azione ad alta velocità e riflessione sulla passione, l’età e l’eredità nel motorsport. Un solido blockbuster sportivo che funziona soprattutto per gli appassionati di Formula 1. Le scene di gara sono spettacolari, girate con un realismo impressionante (sembra di essere davvero in macchina a 300 km/h), e Brad Pitt ha ancora carisma da vendere. La storia è abbastanza prevedibile (classico arco di redenzione e mentorship), ma è raccontata con ritmo e intrattenimento. Non rivoluziona il genere, però è ben fatto tecnicamente e visivamente notevole.

Se em toda edição do Oscar tem um "intruso" indicado, a da edição de 2026 foi 'F1: O Filme'. Não consigo acreditar que com tantos filmes tão bons para indicar a categoria máxima, decidiram colocar logo esse. As cenas das corridas são legais... mas só. Além de ser desnecessariamente longo, não consegue criar um drama realmente interessante em sua narrativa principal, e quando tenta criar algo mais elaborado, é sempre extremamente clichê, o que não me agradou em nada. Sonny tem uma rixa com o colega de equipe, tem um romance com uma outra colega, sai da equipe por algum problema, sempre muito clichê e repetitivo. Consegui adivinhar todo o final de tão clichê que esse filme é.

I DON'T HAVE A SSINGLE COMPLAINT WITH THIS FILM! okay i do feel like Bradd's character is a generic out of control cowboy but i'm not gonna talk about it. I don't remember the last time I was this happy for a fictional character. This is peak!

Sound design and stadium atmosphere make every moment feel intense and powerful 🎬🔊. Kudos to HANS ZIMMER. Didn't expect real F1 drivers- Max, Charles, Lewis, George, Fernando, and many others to be in the movie. And definitely not Toto Wolff. Visually, the film is spectacular. The cinematography and race sequences are shot with incredible realism, capturing the speed and adrenaline of Formula One.

Every great sports movie (or movie in general, for that matter) should understand that it's not about the final match, the last lap, or the knockout; it's about the people behind it all. Something exceedingly elementary that another one of Apple TV+'s distributed works, Ted Lasso, understands to the umpteenth degree. Sure, the racing scenes are an electric treat and gripping as all hell, but I just saw Brad Pitt going on an ego trip as Brad Pitt and nothing more. I don't care about boxing, and I sure as hell don't care about soccer, but I love Rocky and Ted Lasso warms my heart and wets my cheeks through anything but the "big game." also fuck all that Lebron's coming to Philly and now I suddenly care about basketball

What an experience in IMAX!!!! Literally goosebumps. 100% being shot in IMAX camera makes it even more special. It utilises the screen perfectly and ends up becoming a technical masterpiece more than a storytelling masterpiece - Kinda nitpicking but I will have to mention that storytelling wasn’t its biggest strength. But everything else from executing the race and the way it’s shot was phenomenal. One of the best IMAX experiences ever.

A movie that completely lives up to the trailer.  Does every movie need to be completely original, Is it not enough to simply go along for the ride? Did I think of other movies as I was watching this? Yes. But is this the best version of that story? Possibly.  Its similarity and connection to top gun maverick calls to mind days of thunder and makes me wonder what this film would have been like with tom cruise in the lead and if that was ever the plan. 

The racing sequences were excellent and had me on the edge of my seat. Brad Pitt was as charming as ever. The supporting cast around him gazed into his eyes while daydreaming as they should. That's not my problem. The onslaught of advertisements in the F1-verse and in the movie (lots of watch closeups) could even be interpreted as a way to differentiate Pitt's character from the F1 world - so it's not even that. It's that disgusting glossy shine new movies have. David Cronenberg was right about this new digital look being a choice. The Holdovers and The Surfer both shot on digital but look fantastic. Holdovers was digital right? I'm not totally sure. But that gross shiny look was a choice and I found it to be a bad choice. TWO STARS

wow, what a ride! the sound design? 10/10, no question. every engine roar and tire screech felt like it was happening in my chest. visually, it’s stunning....like, every frame could be a wallpaper. i did have to put my brain away during some of the racing scenes (the geek in me was twitching a bit lol), but honestly, it didn’t even matter. the whole thing was such a rush. damson idris absolutely crushed it 🙇🏻‍♀️ this one’s made for the big screen. truly a theatrical experience. loved it!! 🏁🔥
