Korean culture, traditions, rituals, folklore, historical elements everything combining together makes this a multi-layered and richly detailed investigative horror movie. Highly unpredictable each of the six chapters and the most interesting thing is the inclusion of realism mixed into a seemingly folklore horror. Astounding is the word. It’s all in the research and writing that makes this go to another level. Terrifyingly enjoyable and an effective horror film. PS : It’s more than that just an usual jump scare.
