Ash Williams and his girlfriend Linda find a log cabin in the woods with a voice recording from an archeologist who had recorded himself reciting ancient chants from "The Book of the Dead." As they play the recording an evil power is unleashed taking over Linda's body.

#11 of 31 for Hooptober Didn’t think it could get worse. But somehow this one went in the wrong direction. It had Gremlins, Bettle Juice, and other horror vibes, but man I did not like this second one. The acting seemed purposefully bad. He turned into this like action figure. Just was it on board with this one.
I loved how fun this movie was.

Evil Dead 2 tries to be a horror movie but its just one big foolish comedy The so-called scary scenes are so over the top and stuppid that instead of getting scared you just laugh your ass off Possesed people acting crazy body parts doing their own thing the cabin behaving like a total fool and laughing at everything none of it feels actually frightening Just silly demonic stuff with blood flying everywhere Not scary at all but damn its funny as hell
