Burned-out comedian Ralph Hartman suffers from severe anxiety and fears he's being passed over by younger comedians. But his biggest problem comes in the form of his imaginary alter ego: a bearded, high-pitched sadist who follows him everywhere he goes.

Des acteurs excellents dans un film non moins remarquable. Peter Van Der Begin livre ici une interprétation tout à fait incroyable. Ce film fait partie des œuvres qui se basent davantage sur les personnages et leur état d'esprit que sur une histoire et des déclencheurs "extérieurs". Dans "Everybody happy", le voyage du héros est en premier lieu intérieur. "Everybody happy" est un bon film à bien des égards. Bien joué, bien écrit, bien réalisé... La fin m'a néanmoins semblée un peu trop hâtive. The actors are outstanding in no less than a remarkable film. Peter Van Der Begin delivers an absolutely incredible performance here. This film is one of those stories that focus more on the characters and their state of mind than on an external plot or triggers. In “Everybody Happy,” the protagonist’s journey is first and foremost an internal one. “Everybody Happy” is a solid film in many respects. Well-acted, well-written, well-directed... The ending, however, felt a bit rushed to me.
