Major Bill Cage is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously demoted and dropped into combat. Cage is killed within minutes, managing to take an alpha alien down with him. He awakens back at the beginning of the same day and is forced to fight and die again... and again - as physical contact with the alien has thrown him into a time loop.

第二次看還是好看 不過因為知道劇情會覺得前面比較拖 後面那一段畫面還是太黑
Groundhog Day type movies are nothing new and I’ve seen my share. But I think this movie does it better than any other, including the original. Cruise has some amazing moments here and gives an absolutely wonderful performance. His transformation is believable and incredible to behold. The beautiful tragedy of growing closer to someone over weeks or months while that person has only known you for a day and then seeing that person die in countless horrible ways is so heartbreaking and you can see it on cruises every expression. This is an all time favorite for me and it always will be.
