It really is the colors. They pop like nothing I’ve seen before. It’s peak Connery and just an easy watch. It’s all so vibrant. It does slow down near the end, and I also don’t understand how Bond thought going against a literal tank with a handgun would be a good idea. Quarrel died for literally no reason. I was hoping I could give this five stars, but it’s just not quite there. No Bond film has quite been able to cross that threshold yet. We’ll see how they feel on rewatch. James Bond Ranked
