but what happened to the dog at the end??? did he escape too??????

A sequel to the well thought first part, with one of a kind premise and fresh single location thriller turned out to be neither of the things I mentioned above. Last 20 minutes saved the film for me. Until then the first hour or so was massively basic from writing to the performances of the home invaders. In the first part even the robbers were good actors and it had cool set pieces that was executed brilliantly. I couldn’t see them achieving the same kinda writing plus execution in the sequel until the last 20 minutes or so that gave something that made me not hate this film. Technically it’s still good - Loved the way the lightings and colour pallets were used. I also liked the way they paid off the blind character which is morally right.  Overall Bit disappointed but thank god it wasn’t a total disaster.
