In the 1990s, during a wild thunderstorm night, 12-year-old Anay dies in a road accident shortly after he sees his next-door neighbor committing a crime. Twenty-five years later, in a strange turn of events, on an identical stormy night, Antara finds herself in front of a TV set through which she attempts to save Anay’s life but her good deed causes a disturbing chain of unexpected consequences.

I had so much fun watching this time loop thriller adapted in Hindi by Anurag Kashyap. Great to see a director like Kashyap trying this genre that is rarely done in India. Now it’s slowly coming into the mainstream with the films like Maanaadu, Game Over and now this. Just that more people should watch them irrespective of whether they will like it or not. We need more such fun sci fi movies. Sourcecode, Primer, Looper etc etc (Many more are there) being my most favourite time loop or time travel movies of all time, I crave for such movies. Kashyap didn’t try to make it complex but just delicious enough to have my mind thrilled till the end. Thanks to Kashyap that he attempted this and succeeded according to me. Highly engaging stuff.
