”Nobody puts Baby in the corner“ I LOVE dancing, it’s such a beautiful way to express joy, love, even sadness (but let’s not go there). Dirty Dancing is easily one of my favorite comfort films; it brings me so much happiness every time I watch it. Patrick Swayze is such a talented dancer, it’s honestly satisfying to just watch him move. The film has many moments that I ADORE: the opening credits, the first time Baby meets Johnny, their practice scenes in nature —on the tree trunk, in the grass, in the water— the "Lover Boy” scene, and obviously, the iconic ending. It’s one of the best, most joyful endings; it fills me with pure joy. I’m not exaggerating when I say this film makes me feel alive. I love people dancing their feelings away.
