I’ve now seen all three of the made for tv movies and this definitely has the most interesting mystery but is the least impressive overall. The camera work is less interesting than either of the previous films. The characters are all pretty flat as well. Some decent jokes from Poirot but there really isn’t much here.  There’s not a lot to these tv movies and while they were enjoyable enough to watch one time I can’t really recommend them and I don’t see myself watching them again. At least not for a long time.  There is one last Ustinov theatrical film which hopefully can recapture some of the charm of evil under the sun or death on the Nile.
