1st half - solid but 2nd half not as clever in terms of writing yet very watchable and enjoyable. I think this had the best de-aging sequence ever in a movie. Loved those sequences. I could see some brilliance of Lokesh in the first half but it became more of a Rajni’s film later in the second half yet Anirudh’s BGM was intact throughout. It was worth it in the end.
BGM was great 🔥 Action was good 👍 Direction and cinematography were also good 👍 But the story was quite average ❌ I think this is the right time for Lokesh to get back to being the great director he used to be — not making fanboy movies
