Colony
Professor Se-jeong is thrust into a bloody nightmare when a rapidly mutating virus is released during a biotech conference causing authorities to seal the facility. Trapped inside with no escape, Se-jeong along with a small group of survivors must fight to stay alive while the infected undergo horrific transformations.

I found this to be something refreshing yet weirdly unsatisfying as a whole once the film was done. Reminded me of those zombie video games where it is trying to break the stereotypes but end result feels not too satisfying and remained borderline basic. This movie was exactly that for me. Philosophically and characters wise, this was nowhere near as good as Train to Busan directed by the same person. It was fun while it lasted but instantly forgettable film in the genre for me.
Nie wymyśla koła na nowo i jedzie na zombiaczych tropach od początku do końca, po drodze nawet delikatnie romansując z pewną brytyjską serią filmową oraz japońską serią gier, ale dostarcza pod względem czystej rozrywki. Przynajmniej wtedy kiedy chce być rozrywkowy, bo niestety waty tu aż nadmiar mimo błyskawicznego, zwłaszcza jak na kino koreańskie przejścia do mięska. Co najmniej 20 minut do wycięcia i oglądałoby się to dużo przyjemniej. Niemniej może to być początek kolejnej udanej zombie serii tego reżysera.
