My last memory with my grandma is when she was in the hospital. She was lying there, slowly slipping away from us, forgetting so many things and little details due to her dementia. I remember we were playing music in the background and I was mumbling along to some of the words, but as everyone else grew silent, my grandma's hands started to move. She was signing the words of the song with her hands. She forgot birthdays, how to cook, faces, and entire people, but she never forgot her favorite music. I remember the whole room being silent except for the music, me singing along, and the gentle breeze of my grandma's hands as she signed the word "love." I love you grandma so much and I really hope I can see you again one day. I've lost so many people and families and I really hope I can see them all too one day

Dwa pierwsze akty to całkiem przyjemne portal fantasy, chociaż mam kilka zastrzeżeń. Największe z nich to że świat po drugiej stronie portalu jest tak naprawdę naszym światem, tylko ze szkieletami i latającymi stworkami, a także to że jak na film w dużej mierze o muzyce, zarówno score jak i piosenki są jakoś mało natchnione, może nie licząc "La Llorona" które akurat jest sztosem. To dwa pierwsze akty, bo później przychodzi ten nieszczęsny trzeci, gdzie scenariusz staje się nagle niesamowicie toporny, po to żeby opowieść mogła zakończyć się w możliwie najbardziej szczęśliwy sposób. No i ostatnie ~5 minut, czyli jedna z najokropniejszcyh i najbardziej manipulatywnwych rzeczy jaką widziałem kiedykolwiek. To już lepiej kupić sobie cebulę i zacząć ją kroić, chociaż nawet cebula nie jest tak tania jak zagrywka z babką. Nie cierpię, a gdyby to wyciąć, film dostałby ode mnie o całą gwiazdkę więcej.
