Kiyoshi’s yet another MASTERPIECE!!!  Might be one of his basic plots compared to his paranormal masterpieces but it’s still as interesting as those films. From Kiyoshi’s trademark slow-burn drama treatment to almost HORROR-like vibes to action/thriller showdown towards the end - seamless transition. That last scene and a shot added one more interesting element that only Kiyoshi would have thought. It was clear at that moment how Kiyoshi has a fantastical mind even in a film that doesn’t have anything to do with fantastical or supernatural.
