Wouldn't recommend watching after a breakup

The background is always filled with the detailed world-building, which means not a lot of exposition. I kept rewinding a bit to check the foreground and the background.You already heard this, but the cinematography was fantastic! The main character has a great arc with a cool message about hope (which fits a lot in this times we're going through)

It was my first time watching it this year and no film has moved me more in a while. Never more relevant, Quaron's dystopia feels almost a relatable reality in its dread derived from a world so cold that everyone is out for themselves.Driven from hatred for the vile, into hatred for each other. A reflection of the blind eye we give to certain sins when we prioritize stopping others. The horrors of this mentality and the sadness of a shattered humanity. When only a miracle can come close to uniting us, I wonder is there any space on this cramped, thorn-full earth, for us to stop for a moment and pay attention to what is pure and worth saving in this world.

Pewnie to kwestia moich bardzo wysokich oczekiwań, ale nawet przez sekundę nie przyszło mi na myśl, że to jakieś ponadczasowe arcydzieło. Niemniej jednak still jest to kawał bardzo dobrego sci-fi, z fenomenalną pracą kamery i ciekawym konceptem świata przedstawionego. No i zaczyna się iście Hitchcockowsko wink wink. Całkiem niezłe to CGI noworodka, ale chyba było tak kosztowne, że widzimy je tylko półtora raza 😜
