Watch for our Discord’s Weekly Film Club Recommended by MathijsM — Totally agree that this has similar vibes to the Before Trilogy. Loved what Abbas did here. Basically told an entire relationship from beginning to end, but was just represented by 1 day. The scene at the coffee shop was the films pivot and that’s when you start to see the dynamics change. Even had Chungking Express vibes IMO too, which the movies plot seeming to go one way, and then goes a different way.
