終於看了這部影史經典 因為知道後面發生的事所以感覺節奏挺慢的 當年出現這樣的作品想必很轟動

There’s nothing to do with Satan, Mama. It’s me, me. The way Carrie defines telekinesis as a form of control that isn’t only about movement but also about change, her power and strangeness are all about growing up and becoming more powerful, independent. She doesn’t even need to flick her hand, her desire is her power. To Carrie’s mom, a teenager with power to defy her mother can only come from the devil. She loves the ideal Carrie she has in her mind and hates everything that her real daughter is doing. Hates how she is not as under her control as she used to be. I hate to say it, but some of the mom’s attitudes with religion didn’t feel all that far from what I know personally as someone who grew up religious. In the film, it’s scary how the mom can quickly justify whatever she does by believing she is not fighting Carrie, but fighting the Devil, and saving her daughter.
