The main thing I liked about this was how authentically the location/culture was used with a folklore that infuses an important environmental message. There’s a sense of utmost sincerity in making this an unique experience for an audience. It also mix humour almost effortlessly though at certain parts it seemed forced. But most of the part was refreshing and engaging to watch. The main gripe I had with this was the last 20 minutes. I would have surely wanted this to end in a better way because that freshness it had set suddenly vanished after an underwhelming and an obvious reveal towards the end. If not for this ending this could have been an easy 3.5/5. Nonetheless a very very sincere attempt in making something original and I would really want them to make a much better sequel. I will support them for sure.

Bhediya (2022) • A werewolf from the Maddock supernatural universe, with a lot of things to say. The origin and intentions of the lead character are well-written and clear. I actually liked all the supernatural elements happening to Varun Dhawan. The story is decent, and the comedy is average—you will definitely laugh at some moments.
