Ajay Dixit, an ordinary history teacher in a high school, enjoys mini celebrityhood in his town courtesy of the fake image he has built. He shares a strained relationship with his newly-wed wife. Circumstances force him to take a trip to Europe for the World War II trail accompanied by his wife. Will his relationship with his wife survive this trip? Will he manage to win the war within?

Sincere and well intentioned but not well executed overall. War allegory should not have been given ON-THE-NOSE treatment. Instead I would have wanted it to stay in the background without too much of exposition by the lead characters. Nonetheless the drama part and the relationship angle is actually engaging and cute. Almost felt like what if I had only watched a story about two lead characters trying to mend their relationship. Maybe that would have been a better scenario. Metaphorically this is a failure as it seriously doesn’t seem to be smooth in terms of transition or parallels. Some of the things seemed forced. Overall a very flawed execution of something that was well intentioned on paper but couldn’t create magic on screen. Not a bad watch when it comes to emotions and relationship part.
