Eighties teenager Marty McFly is accidentally sent back in time to 1955, inadvertently disrupting his parents' first meeting and attracting his mother's romantic interest. Marty must repair the damage to history by rekindling his parents' romance and - with the help of his eccentric inventor friend Doc Brown - return to 1985.

I can judge some of the great performances in this clearly than I could when I watched it for the first time long ago. Calling this nostalgic is an understatement because this film will live up to every era forever. Pure timeless sci-fi storytelling magic by Robert Zemeckis ❤️❤️
Zemeckis-fest Man, every time I see this movie, I like it more and more. The one thing that has become clear to me is how good Zemeckis is at set-up and payoff. He does a lot of it in Used Cars, where everything gets set up for the big finale, but here it is perfected. Just every little detail throughout the runtime is expertly crafted to satisfy the audience. Everything this movie touches it excels at, and it doesn’t matter how many times you watch it, there’s always more joy to derive from it. I haven’t seen the rest of the trilogy in a while, so I’m excited to see how they compare to this, as it’s essentially perfect.
