While it could never be nearly as good as the original simply due to the nature of its existence, I do find this to be pretty enjoyable. Perhaps it’s nostalgia talking (I probably watched this nearly as much as The Lost Empire), but I find the plots of the three segments pretty interesting, and if it was made into a show, it would be pretty unique, especially compared to other Disney Channel fare. The comedy is ham-fisted but pretty in line with anything else from the time. I wouldn’t tell you to go out of your way to watch this, but if you just watched the first film and want more Atlantis, then this would 100% be worth a watch. Just don’t set your expectations too high.
