Aside from Killers of the Flower Moon, all of these Apple produced movies and shows have a shiny, plastic look that feels sanitized and fake. Seriously, how could Matthew Vaughn watch Henry Cavill drive that yellow CGI Jeep and go, "We got the shot!"? Apple does not understand the entertainment industry. The movies they make have no humanity. There's no other way to describe it. The characters do things real humans do not do; they're like robots trying desperately to seem real. We love movies because we can relate to them and, by watching them, learn something new about ourselves. But that's hard to do when everything on the screen looks like a computer pixel. Sure, Apple's excessive use of CGI in Argylle is gross. But the worst culprit is actually the Morning Show. I have a theory that Jon Hamm and Jennifer Aniston never filmed a scene for Morning Show in the same physical location. If you go back and watch, you'll see what I mean. In conclusion, Don't watch Argylle. Don't watch anything Apple puts out unless the filmmaker has complete creative control like Scorsese did.
