Anomaly + Lisa = Anomalisa Probably one of the lesser chaotic Kaufman’s, but nonetheless brilliant. It touches on sameness as humans, yet in Michael’s speech he preaches individuality. It touches on lack of human connection, yet Michael can’t stand others (taxi driver, hotel staff, his family, or his surprise party). Also, side note, after seeing Adaptation and how they wove Being John Malkovich into it, I can’t help but wonder if this was supposed to be the works of the puppeteer. All the voices were mainly from one person. And it carries similar themes with the puppeteer only connected with his dolls and lacks human connection.
