This movie is just absolutely vibrant. The colors really pop and every musical number is simply outstanding. Betty Hutton has some simply spectacular vocals and every other voice is nearly as equally as strong. Are certain elements outdated? Perhaps. But no more than any other film from this era and perhaps much less. I’m surprised how few reviews there are for this movie. If you like musicals then I would consider this a must watch.
