Although I guessed the main twist from the beginning, the journey was still incredibly entertaining to watch. Watching as Harold Angel descends further and further into the unknown like a vicious spiral. This movie has absolutely incredible-looking shots with fantastic composition. The edit was really good too, giving the film a real dreamlike quality. As someone who’s only seen Mickey Rourke in Iron Man 2, I was really impressed with him here and will probably watch more of his films now. Overall, this is a fascinating movie, and while I found the plot somewhat predictable and wished the ending was a little more compelling, it’s still a really well-made movie and a welcome twist on the mystery genre.
