Watched the director’s cut. I thought it was incredibly well made in every aspect. Acting, writing, cinematography, editing, music etc. Everything is done to perfection. It’s also a surprisingly entertaining film. Those 3 hours go by quickly because of how interesting the story and direction are and it makes the movie better. Also Jeffrey jones being in this movie is very offputting, but he’s actually pretty good as well. Anyways yeah it’s a masterpiece and it deserves all the praise it gets and more
