In Dijon, a stone owl is said to grant wishes to those who touch it with their left hand. Months after his sister’s suicide, a broken man comes to make a wish. When he finds one of those responsible working as a taxi driver, he sees an opportunity to take justice into his own hands, leading them to a remote landscape dominated by a smoking power plant.
