A newly-developed microchip designed by Zorin Industries for the British Government that can survive the electromagnetic radiation caused by a nuclear explosion has landed in the hands of the KGB. James Bond must find out how and why. His suspicions soon lead him to big industry leader Max Zorin who forms a plan to destroy his only competition in Silicon Valley by triggering a massive earthquake in the San Francisco Bay.

A View to a Kill is the best Bond theme. It is one of my favorite songs of all time. I’m happy to say the movie itself lives up to it pretty well. This honestly would be my favourite Moore film if it weren’t so darn long. It really is the most normal out of all of his films. I really like when it turns into Chinatown. Pretty goated cast with Christopher Walken and Grace Jones. And any movie with California Girls has to be peak. We have now reached the end of the Moore era. Some really good films and some real stinkers, but on the whole, a good time. Obviously, Moore could never be as cool and suave as Connery, but for the time, I think he’s pretty decent. He’s just a little too old. We now reach the two Timothy Dalton films, which are the ones I’ve been the most curious about as he has the shortest run next to Lazenby. So I’m curious what that says about his movies.
