A storm rolls through the streets of West Philadelphia and reduces a young man to sunflower seeds, a metaphorical representation of his lost potential. An elderly sage picks up the pieces, and plants the seeds in her humble garden, restarting the all-too-familiar cycle of their environmental circumstance.
